University Pathway Course

Study in Germany with our intensive German language programme!

The core element of the Pathway Courses at Go Study Free is an intensive German language course designed for learners intending to study at a German university. Each level comprises 180 course units, whereby the last course day of the levels B1 to C1 is reserved for the telc examination.  As a complete beginner you can progress from zero to university level within as little as 30 weeks.

We provide a course which is both intensive and substantial and which unarguably delivers sustainable results. Course participants quickly gain insights into the German language and immediately master the basics of the language including communicative situations.

Our curriculum is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition to training the four skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing), we also put a special focus on grammar. This is because the DSH and TestDaF exams, which represent the last major hurdle for our students along the pathway to university entrance, require an excellent knowledge of grammatical aspects of the language.

During the courses we have a system of continuous assessment for all four language skills, whereby the class teachers document the results of regular lesson tests, homework assignments and subtests. We use this assessment instrument to generate the final evaluation for the certificate of participation at the end of each level from A1 to C1.  In addition, the levels B1 to C1 are completed with the relevant telc exam.  In addition to our general German courses we also offer exam format training for the telc exams, TestDaF, DSH and the entrance exam for Studienkolleg.  The preparation course for Studienkolleg also includes exam preparation in mathematics.
